Bye,Bye Dorms

Last night was my last time to sleep in my dorm room. I didn't sleep very well as I just looked around and had millions of thoughts running through my head. I remember DREADING moving into the dorms. But now I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm excited to live with Olivia & Whitney next year, but I am going to miss the dorms..a lot. I'm so use to walking out of my pod and 5 girls be sitting there chatting. There is always someone who wants to go get food or go to the mall. We all have gotten so close.



C-murdy--Don't cry when you read this please. I'm going to miss sleeping in your bed and our little chats. But yes you will be staying with me whit and liv. And yes there will be pictures of you in the apartment.ha.I love you so much and I love the fact we are so close.
Whitney--Roommates?really? Never would have thought it. I never thought we would even speak more than 5 words to each other!haha Can't wait till next year!Take care of the box!I love you!
Laura Beth--Sorry for spilling ice cream in your car.oops!haha I love how we have gotten closer! You are hilarious and always up for Rice Box!ahha!Love you!Can't wait to share our children stories from the summer!haha
Olivia--Oh dear...where do I begin.goof. We are like a married couple..not a joke. I'm so glad we have gotten so close. No idea what I would do without your craziness. Can't wait to move in...the car? Whit said if we don't find anywhere then she could move home...guess we have to sleep in the car.NBD LOVES you
Teague--I'm so excited for you and the summer ahead of you! You are going to have a blast!And going to make such a difference in those kids lives.I'm very proud of you. Just remeber to always stand your ground, you have to stay strong.I love you

Junior...

Seriously...A JUNIOR in college?



I get sick when I think about growing up..literally.You have no idea. As I was driving back to Florence for my last final exam, it hit me that I was about to be a junior...in college. I got sick to my stomach. This is not ok. It feels like AGD bid day was just a year ago. I will be a active sister of Alpha Gamma Delta for only 2 more years. WOW. Where does the time go. Formal #4 coming up tomorrow...

I feel like this formal was just last week...but really it was Decemeber

Disaster...

Never would I think somewhere so close to me would look like this...in a matter of 24 hours...

April 27, 2011 at 4:00 AM my roommate woke me and told me the tornado sirens were going off. So we went out in the common room and waited.Then they came and got us to go downstairs.Keep in mind im SCAREDDDDDD of storms.Like could have peed on myself (almost did). So we waited it out and finally got to go back to bed.
Wake up at 7:40 (when my alarm goes off) and I had a LIONALERT saying classes were cancelled for the day. So, I went back to sleep for a few more hours. We went downstairs 3 more times that day. We watched as the tornado took up part of Marshall County (my home). Heartbreaking. Later in the day it took Cullman, Athens, Limestone County, Phil Campbell, and then Tuscaloosa. Words can't and don't describe what I saw on television that day. The pictures are unreal. It feels like a dream.
My thoughts and prayers go out to every city, family, and person affected.

Simple Not Easy

As my boss came to speak to my SRM class today he wrote this on the board...

Simple dosen't equal easy.

I've thought about this the rest of the day.He is right.I'm a simple person,I don't have to have a lot to make me happy.I'm perfectly fine with t-shirt and jeans everyday.It was simple changing my major to

Physical Education,but getting there might not be so easy. It's going to be hard and I know that, but I'm so excited to get started and I'm ready to work hard. So I might be a simple person but life is not always going to be easy. I need to go ahead and face that now.
